V-ZUG Electronics ### The Electronics Development department is an area of the Technology Department that, in close cooperation with innovation development, design, purchasing, product management, production, and other departments, develops and is responsible for the electronics for household appliances in the kitchen and textile sectors. What this position offers you ### • You are responsible for the support and further development of series production in the areas of electronics, electrical engineering, sensor technology, and wiring, with a focus on quality and costs • Your area of responsibility includes detailed and thorough analyses of quality problems and malfunctions, sometimes also in the field • You evaluate and qualify alternative components and ensure that suitable components for series production are available even in the event of discontinuations • You take on the task of structuredly incorporating field experience into ongoing development projects to increase quality and reliability • Additionally, you are responsible for the care, maintenance, and further development of the department's infrastructure, such as soldering, measuring, and testing equipment, as well as relevant software tools • You work in an interdisciplinary, agile environment, are in close exchange with quality assurance, software, wiring, and process engineering as well as design and construction, and actively participate in the SAFe team, including participation in PI Plannings, Dailys, Reviews, and Retros for the continuous improvement of the ART What you bring to the position ### • You have a higher education degree in the field of electrical engineering or a comparable qualification at FH/ETH level • Ideally, you have several years of experience in hardware development and are familiar with the relevant development processes • You possess sound knowledge of circuit design as well as experience in using measurement technology and debugging tools such as oscilloscopes and measuring systems • Basic knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and PCB layout will facilitate your entry into our development environment • Experience with IEC standards (e.g., IEC-60335 for household appliances) is desirable and will support you in the safe design of our products • You bring initial knowledge and a solid basic understanding of sensor technology and actuator technology, for example, in dealing with motors, temperature sensors, or valves • Very good German skills and good English skills enable you to communicate clearly and confidently in a technical environment
