Bern, Switzerland (and home office) | 80-100% What you can contribute <br /> • Assist the head of the secretariat, the president and the members of the AS-MPC with all legal or administrative matters • Process criminal data and complaints largely independently, act as the interlocutor for the extraordinary prosecutors of the AS-MPC, and develop conceptual and material bases to support the authority's supervisory tasks • Prepare and follow up on sessions dedicated to supervision, record information and conclusions, handle correspondence, draft report projects, working documents and press releases, as well as prepare parliamentary commission hearings and, if necessary, accompany the members of the AS-MPC to them • Independently handle legal issues, particularly in the fields of constitutional law, administrative law and criminal procedure law, draft contracts, and ensure the risk management and case control of the AS-MPC <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Higher education in law (master, bachelor or doctorate) • Marked interest in political and public law issues as well as in the related activities of the supervisory authority • Excellent sense of service and good social skills, desire to commit within a small team with a horizontal organization and to handle all matters pertaining to the supervisory authority therein, great conceptual and analytical skills, ease in oral and written communication, very good knowledge of MS Office and, if possible, knowledge in the field of data science • Very good knowledge of two official languages, passive knowledge of the third and knowledge of English <br /> In a few words Through your commitment within the secretariat of the Supervisory Authority of the Office of the Attorney General of the Swiss Confederation (AS-MPC), which is independent and directly subordinate to Parliament, you will contribute significantly to the fulfillment of its duties, namely the verification of the legality, regularity, relevance, efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the actions of the Office of the Attorney General of the Swiss Confederation.
