CAM Programmer

What the company offers • Friendly and appreciative working atmosphere • Balanced work-life balance • Flexible working models • Modern and high-quality equipped workplaces • Diverse development and career opportunities • Participation in the company's success • Fresh and regional catering options • Generous mobility offers • Demanding activity in a modern production environment • A lot of personal responsibility and space for technical improvements • Long-term perspective in an innovative Swiss industrial company Our customer requests • Completed vocational training as a polymechanic, production mechanic, or in a comparable technical profession • Several years of professional experience in CNC manufacturing • Sound knowledge in the programming and operation of CNC machines • Good knowledge of Siemens, Heidenhain, and Fanuc controls • Experience with TopSolid is an advantage • Confident understanding of technical drawings and work instructions • Independent, precise, and reliable way of working • High sense of quality and responsibility • Pronounced social competence and good communication skills • Very good German skills in speaking and writing • Good PC user skills • High level of commitment and resilience • Flexibility regarding working hours in multi-shift operation • Enjoyment of process optimizations and collaboration with various specialist departments What awaits you • Creation and optimization of CNC programs for milling and turning machines • Consideration of automation, process capability, and efficient subsequent processes • Analysis of manufacturing drawings and 3D models • Selection of suitable tools, clamping devices, and machining strategies • Programming of 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centers • Simulation, testing, and release of the created programs • Management and ongoing maintenance of program data • Reduction of lead times through targeted process optimizations • Close cooperation with design, production planning, and production • Support and coaching of employees to promote creativity and productivity • Ensuring compliance with applicable quality standards • Working according to standards as well as testing and work instructions • Ensuring the operational readiness of machines and equipment • Careful maintenance of tools and technical facilities • Execution of general operational activities to support the operative business • Active participation in the continuous improvement process • Cooperation with upstream and downstream departments to optimize the overall process
