We are looking for a/an Legal Counsel BANK-now to support the team in the following areas of responsibility: • Participation in supporting a wide range of legal and regulatory issues for BANK-now • Review, analysis and co-design of contracts as well as support in contract negotiations • Review and analysis of civil law, unfair competition law, competition law and data protection law issues as well as support in finding settlements and preparing civil and criminal proceedings • Support in the implementation of legal and regulatory innovations (especially in consumer credit law) • Participation in internal committees and projects to ensure corporate governance and regulatory compliance • Legal support for specialist departments of BANK-now as well as collaboration with relevant stakeholders within UBS • Participation in cross-functional projects, especially in the context of digitalization and further development of the business model Automatic job code 337494BR City Zürich Job Type Full-time, Part-time Our Team You will work in the Strategic Initiatives & Digital Transformation Legal Switzerland Team of UBS in Zürich and in Horgen. We focus on providing high-quality legal advice and solutions in the area of digital transformation and the credit and leasing business. What we are looking for • Completed law studies in Switzerland; attorney admission (Anwaltspatent) an advantage • 1-4 years of professional experience in a law firm, legal department or the financial industry • Interest in financial market law issues, especially in the leasing and credit environment • Basic knowledge of data protection law and interest in digital business models are an advantage • Analytical and structured way of working as well as the ability to prepare legal issues in a practical manner • High level of initiative and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration • Good organizational skills and a high awareness of quality • Interest in digitalization and new technologies - Business fluent in German and English.
