System Engineer

System Engineer (m/f) commIT provides IT services for the cities of Aarau and Baden as well as other public law institutions. In cooperation with our customers, we realize exciting IT solutions for their specialist departments and ensure their operation as well as support. We are a team of around 29 employees and 2 apprentices. For the development department, we are looking for, effective immediately or by arrangement, a System Engineer (m/f) (80 - 100 %) Support modern and efficient ICT workplaces with your work – and thus the reliable fulfillment of important public law tasks. This is how you contribute Co-responsibility for the operation, maintenance and further development of the Entra ID, Active Directory, Intune, Exchange Online, DNS, PKI and Microsoft SQL environments as well as the M365 and Azure services Close cooperation with internal and external partners, development of concepts (expansion of the infrastructure, cloud solutions, new services, optimization of the environment) as well as their implementation in projects including clean handover to operations Support of digital transformation projects through technical specialist advice as well as taking over partial or project management depending on the project Packaging and distribution of software using the PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit as well as creation of the associated installation manuals Planning, installation, configuration and maintenance of programs and specialist applications as well as active participation in the training of apprentices Active participation in the commIT team with professional competence and personal commitment Support of the support team in troubleshooting at 3rd-level stage What you bring with you Teamwork skills, motivation, independence, openness and quick comprehension Completed IT training or several years of professional experience in the Microsoft environment Very good knowledge in the areas of PowerShell, Active Directory, M365, Azure Services, Windows Servers and software packaging as well as the willingness to learn new things Flexibility and willingness for occasional work assignments during off-peak hours Experience in the area of ICT and cloud automation What awaits you?
