To complete our Medic-Help team at the BAZ Basel center, we are looking for a registered nurse at 60-100% immediately or by arrangement. Your responsibilities ## • Ensure and guarantee basic medical care to asylum seekers at the center taking into account existing guidelines (BEKO, SEM manual - medical care access for AS and procedures at the BAZ, guide on the use of medicines, BAG manual for epidemic management and ORS processes) • Lead and organize an efficient triage according to urgency and severity, then coordinate with medical organizations (emergency, rescue services, doctors, dentists) • Perform initial medical care in case of emergency, nursing care and measures prescribed by the doctor • Organize, advise and sometimes personally conduct regular training for non-medical staff/center management in the field of basic medical care, emergency management and prevention • Ensure contact and the flow of information with doctors, counseling centers and other professionals • Guarantee the maintenance of daily consultations • Ensure the management and administration of medical files Your profile ## • Tertiary education: Federal Professional Examination (EPF) or equivalent (e.g. HF diploma) • Registered nurse HF / FH • 0 to 1 year of relevant professional experience • Team spirit, high social competence and sense of responsibility • Composure in difficult situations and openness to different cultures • Organizational talent and planning ability • Basic knowledge and user of MS Office applications • Clean criminal record (no entry in the debt collection register and criminal record) • German | oral: C1 | written: C1 • French | oral: B1 | written: B1 (an asset) • English | oral: B1 | written: B1 You engage proactively and fully in the tasks entrusted to you.
