Learn more about UZH as an employer! ### Tasks As a Business Analyst, you will undertake the following tasks in our team within an agile environment: You ... • analyze complex issues in the field of teaching and study administration and develop viable, sustainable specialist concepts and solution approaches from them; • advise faculties and central organizational units on the design and further development of processes and digital services; • work closely with stakeholders from the central administration, the faculties, and the Central IT and create common foundations for well-founded decisions; • work closely with Product Owners and accompany development projects from problem definition through conception to the implementation of new solutions; • actively contribute to the strategic further development of our services and our team. Profile You are a curious and creative personality with excellent analytical and conceptual skills. It is easy for you to structure complex issues, recognize connections, and develop a consistent overall picture from different perspectives. You ask the right questions, think beyond specialist, organizational, and system boundaries, and maintain a focus on the essentials even in demanding situations. You work independently, take responsibility, and move confidently in an environment with different interests and requirements. With your communication strength and your intuition for people, you succeed in building viable relationships, moderating discussions, and developing common solutions. You can convey complex matters clearly, precisely, appropriately for the target group, and convincingly, both verbally and visually. Ideally, you have the following educational/further training background or the following knowledge: • completed university degree or comparable training in an analytical or conceptually oriented subject area; • experience in the analysis of complex issues as well as in the development of specialist concepts, strategies, or organizational solutions; • ability to understand processes, data structures, and organizational connections and to think cross-functionally; • experience in working with different stakeholder groups as well as in the moderation and accompaniment of change processes; • knowledge in the university environment, in process management, in the digitalization of administrative processes, or in SAP-based system landscapes is an advantage.
