Youth Worker OKJA Niesen 60%

On behalf of the municipalities of Frutigen (host municipality), Kandergrund, Kandersteg, Reichenbach, Erlenbach and Diemtigen (approx. 3-300 children and young people), we operate Open Child and Youth Work as part of regional community work. We work without a fixed office and wherever possible on-site and in cooperation with local partners. Youth meeting points are run by the young people themselves; we accompany and support them in doing so. We understand the entire community as our target group and our hearts beat faster when we can support children and young people in implementing their own ideas. Yours too? Then get in touch with us! To support our team, we are looking for, starting from 1 October 2026 or by arrangement, a Youth Worker 60%, with an area of activity in the Kander- and Niedersimmental ## Your tasks • Responsibility for needs-oriented development, coordination and organization of projects in cooperation with children, young people, parents, institutions, schools, associations and authorities • Contact person for a host municipality and regionally • Networked and public work, integrated into local and regional circumstances • Maintaining contact with children and young people and supporting their concerns  What you bring with you • You have a degree in Social Work, Social Pedagogy or Socioculture • You want to move things and enable new things and bring patience and initiative for this • You want to work independently, solution-oriented and with a lot of spontaneity • You have an interest in the region and its people • You have experience in project work as well as in working with children and young people • For you, irregular working hours and assignments are possible • You can establish digital and analog relationships • Ideally, you possess a driving license category B  What we offer you • Lots of freedom for your own initiative and ideas • An attractive workplace that you will help to shape • A dynamic, motivated and versatile team • Employment and remuneration according to the personnel regulations of the municipality of Frutigen, which is closely aligned with cantonal personnel legislation • Training and further education opportunities Further information will be provided by Simeon Gehri, Head of OKJA Niesen, Tel. 075 429 46 58 or Markus Bieri, Head of Regional Social Service Frutigen, 033 672 52 40.
