Abandoned rooms, empty corridors, missing children's voices: For us teachers at Holderbach, Wednesday afternoon is a real challenge. Our passion for curious children's eyes, clever questions, and the joint exploration of the environment is too great. Due to a possible class closure at the end of the 2026/27 school year, we are looking for a fixed-term Tasks ## • Workload approx. 93%, 25 weekly lessons and one task hour • Planning, preparation, and implementation of lessons based on the curriculum • Follow-up and evaluation of lessons • Advising students regarding individual learning and performance difficulties as well as pointing out support opportunities • Maintaining parent contact as well as planning and implementation of special occasions • Cooperation within the staff, with the school management, external specialist offices, and legal guardians (including parent conferences) Profile ## • a teaching diploma for the primary level, recognized in Switzerland • Joy in teaching students from a wide variety of cultures; classroom management comes easily to you • Joy in working in an integrated setting, together with special education teachers and assistants • Interest in participating in midday supervision and willingness to contribute to the shared school culture • positive basic attitude, ability to work in a team, resilience, enthusiasm, and composure when dealing with new things and uncertainties We offer ## • a well-organized school that has been professionally managed for many years • an open-minded, committed team. We derive our pedagogical stance from the concept of New Authority and thus face the daily challenges of everyday school life together and effectively. We are a QUIMS school with almost 600 children. Where over 30 different languages are represented, a staircase sometimes becomes a ladder or a sink becomes a fountain. We cannot boast luxurious spatial conditions or a gym quota of 80 percent.
