Bern \| 80-100% This is your contribution <br /> • Fully represent the Head of Command Support Service Army and Operations Command in their absence or in special situations and lead the template management area personnel-wise, technically, and organizationally • Be responsible for the command support service for operations, missions, and support services of the army within the Operations Command, and plan, control, monitor, and further develop the staff steering process end-to-end across the phases of action planning, situation monitoring, and action follow-up • Coordinate information processing for military decision-making, establish binding specifications, procedures, templates, and products, and ensure command readiness and the secure use of command and information systems • Steer operational data management in the Operations Command staff, ensure data quality and data governance, and coordinate Local Data Stewards, Data Owners, IT service providers, and business application managers; enforce specifications on data protection and information security • Lead complex and interdisciplinary projects regarding command support services, staff processes, and digitalization, represent the interests of the Operations Command in JOPG, committees, and specialist bodies, and train employees in command support service procedures, information management, and digital working methods <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Bachelor's degree from a university of applied sciences or university, preferably in business administration, security management, business informatics, or systems engineering, or an equivalent education with function-relevant professional experience • Several years of leadership experience, ideally at least three years in leading a team or an organizational unit, as well as at least two years of experience in classical or agile project management; experience in a security-relevant organization is an advantage • Proven military career as an officer of the Swiss Army with at least three to five years of experience in military leadership work, for example as Head of Command Support Service, S6, S3, or commander at company level or higher; general staff training desired • Strong understanding of military command and staff processes, strong analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills, as well as convincing communication, cooperation, and leadership competence in complex and dynamic situations • High digital affinity and knowledge of military command and information systems, Microsoft M365, as well as preferably Jira, Confluence, Acta Nova, BPMN, and HERMES or IPMA; German C2, French B2, Italian B1, and English B2. <br /> In a nutshell You want to help shape the operational command capability of the army and maintain an overview even in complex situations?
