The gastroenterology and hepatology department provides care on its technical platform for outpatient and inpatient patients for diagnostic and interventional endoscopy examinations in gastroenterology and pulmonology. Nurse in the gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition department - 60% Within the digestive and bronchial endoscopy unit, you will ensure the care of outpatient and inpatient patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic examinations in a specialized technical environment. You welcome, inform and accompany patients throughout their care pathway, from the preparation of the examination to post-interventional monitoring. You ensure the nursing care of patients in the pre-, peri- and post-examination phases, guaranteeing their safety, comfort and the quality of care. You prepare the examination rooms and ensure the availability as well as the proper functioning of the material and equipment specific to digestive and bronchial endoscopy. You assist doctors during various diagnostic and therapeutic acts, notably digestive and bronchial endoscopies and puncture-biopsies, by providing the necessary instrumentation and technical support. You perform, monitor and evaluate sedations as well as pain management, in collaboration with the medical team and in accordance with institutional protocols. You participate in the reprocessing, disinfection and traceability of endoscopes in compliance with current hygiene and quality standards. You coordinate the flow of patients on the technical platform and in the monitoring room, demonstrating autonomy, organization, reactivity and an excellent sense of priorities. You ensure rigorous clinical monitoring and guarantee relevant transmissions in order to promote the continuity and safety of care. You participate in on-call shifts or standby duties allowing for the management of endoscopic emergencies 24 hours a day. This function offers you the opportunity to evolve within a specialized, dynamic and innovative technical platform, in contact with multidisciplinary teams expert in gastroenterology and pulmonology. Qualifications You hold a HES Bachelor's in nursing or an equivalent recognized title by the Swiss Red Cross. You have a minimum of two years of experience in acute care. Experience in endoscopy is a real asset. You have a strong interest in instrumentation and enjoy working in a specialized technical environment. Performing certain examinations under fluoroscopy requires wearing a lead apron for several hours. You demonstrate excellent capacities for adaptation, stress management, tact and anticipation. You enjoy working in close collaboration with the medical team as well as working in a multidisciplinary team. You are willing to follow a progressive integration period including specific training until autonomy is acquired in all examinations performed within the unit, in order to be able to carry out the on-call shifts. You have an excellent command of the French language both orally and in writing. Additional information You will work day, night and weekend shifts according to the needs of the department.
