To strengthen our mechatronics team, we are looking for, effective immediately or by arrangement, a/an Development Engineer Mechatronics (100%) m/f/d In the MedTech business unit, we develop interdisciplinary, innovative medical products based on state-of-the-art technologies up to production and market readiness. As a manufacturer, we support the products throughout their entire life cycle. In our development department, you have the opportunity to help shape diverse and demanding products. Your tasks You assume technical responsibility for mechatronic assemblies and make sound technical decisions throughout the entire development process. You develop innovative mechatronic solutions and accompany the entire process from the concept idea to verification and approval. You create, maintain, and check technical documentation such as CAD data, drawings, bills of materials, and verification reports. You plan and support technical verifications, ensure the highest quality standards, and guarantee compliance with standards (MDR, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, ISO 10993). You recognize deviations from specifications, processes, and standards at an early stage and initiate appropriate corrective measures. Your profile You are an experienced developer personality with a passion for innovative medical technology and want to create real added value with your ideas. You have a completed degree in medical technology, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a comparable technical field. You bring several years of experience in the development of medical products and have ideally already assumed responsibility for assemblies, sub-projects, or complex development tasks. You move confidently between development, design, and project work and enjoy working interdisciplinary. You develop practical and innovative solutions using modern CAD systems – preferably Solid Edge. You analyze complex technical issues, make sound decisions, and accompany technical reviews, risk analyses, as well as verification and approval activities. You take responsibility, work in a structured, independent, and quality-conscious manner, and successfully lead projects to completion. You communicate confidently in German and English.
