Specialist Production & Work Preparation (AVOR) The Cowex AG is an established manufacturer of composites for demanding industrial applications. To relieve our Managing Director and the Production Planner, we are looking for an experienced personality who understands our production holistically, deploys employees in a goal-oriented manner, and professionally helps shape the work preparation. Your main tasks Supporting smooth production processes at two locations (Lausen & Pratteln) in close cooperation with management and production planning. Creating, planning, and prioritizing work orders (AVOR) taking into account deadlines, capacities, and material availability. Optimal deployment of around 20–25 production employees on various machines and systems (shift and resource allocation, deputies, etc.). Monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing machine utilization, throughput times, and productivity. Technical assessment of drawings and bills of materials as well as ensuring correct implementation in manufacturing. Collaborating on improvement projects (processes, quality, efficiency) and contributing your practical experience to the further development of production. Interface between production, AVOR, purchasing, and management. Your profile Must-criteria Completed vocational training in the mechanical industry or in a comparable technical profession (e.g., production specialist). At least 10 years of practical experience in an industrial production environment, ideally in machine and plant manufacturing. Sound understanding of how machines and systems function and how they react to changes (parameters, material, processes). Very good ability to read and understand technical drawings, bills of materials, and manufacturing documents. Proven experience in work preparation / AVOR as well as in operational production planning. Practice in the deployment planning of employees on machines (capacity planning, shift planning, efficient personnel allocation). Entrepreneurial and cost-conscious thinking and acting at an operational level. Very good German skills in speaking and writing; advanced French & English skills for exchange in an international environment. Should-criteria Experience in an SME environment where one "gets stuck in" and solves topics pragmatically.
