Heavy goods vehicle driver For one of our clients for a permanent position, we are looking for a: Heavy goods vehicle driver Job description As an HGV driver, you will ensure the secure and punctual transport of goods on national and international routes, in compliance with road safety rules and internal procedures. Driving and transport: Drive a heavy goods vehicle (HGV), load and unload goods, verify and ensure the compliance of the transport. Customer relations: Represent the company during deliveries, welcome and exchange professionally with customers, collect signatures and necessary documents. Administrative management: Keep on-board documents, trip declarations, and incident reports up to date, and transmit the necessary information to the planning department. Profile sought Training and license: Holder of permit C - Suva Forklift License is an asset Experience: Significant experience in international and national HGV driving (minimum 5 years of experience desired with knowledge of Swiss territory, notably the canton of Geneva and Canton of Vaud). Technical skills: Knowledge of road safety rules, securing and handling of goods. Proficiency in geolocation tools and clocking terminals desired. Personal qualities: Rigor, punctuality, sense of organization and autonomy. Excellent adaptability and sense of customer service. Physical conditions: Good resistance to stress and ability to perform occasional handling operations.
