Forensic Accountant

Attached to the l-Ordre judiciaire vaudois, the four district courts of the canton rule in the first instance in many cases involving criminal law and civil law in a broad sense. Each includes several chambers (criminal, family, pecuniary, etc.). The Tribunal d'arrondissement de l'Est vaudois, which employs nearly 50 magistrat·e·s and collaborateur·trice·s, is looking for a Forensic Accountant Responsibilities ## • Ensure the accounting and financial management of the court. • Guarantee the proper maintenance of the cash box and the CCP: entry of transactions and control of movements. • Control and pay all court invoices. • Assume responsibility for the regular control of the contents of the safe. • Collaborate in the analysis and closing of accounts as well as in budget preparation. • Ensure the archiving and accounting closing of costly files. • Prepare expense statements for auxiliary staff (assessor judges, ad hoc clerks, etc.) and transmit payroll data. • Collaborate with all functions working within the court, as well as with external partners. • Form a duo with the court's assistant accountant and work in close collaboration with management. Qualifications ## • CFC in commercial employment or an equivalent title, completed by several years of professional experience in the field of accounting • Experience within a judicial authority or the judicial world would be an asset • Attraction to the judicial field • Perfect mastery of standard IT tools, including Excel • Discretion, precision, rigor and autonomy. • Mastery of the SAP program. As part of the recruitment procedure, candidates will be required to present an extract from the debt collection register and a criminal record less than 3 months old.
