Ärztekasse is renewing its entire data center as well as the products affected by this transformation. To support this stage of digitization, we are looking for smart and experienced engineers to contribute and design clever and creative solutions for a meaningful sector. Platform Engineering Manager (m/f) Working hours: 80-100% Start: immediate or by agreement Duration: indefinite Location: Zurich region (Urdorf) Main tasks • Lead and develop the platform engineering team (around 8 people) • Be responsible for the strategy, architecture, and roadmap of our CDM Cloud platform (Kubernetes) • Ensure the availability, reliability, security, and scalability of the platform • Promote automation, infrastructure as code, and GitOps throughout the organization • Foster a strong engineering culture and mentor team members • Collaborate with development, security, operations, and infrastructure teams on cross-functional initiatives • Manage budget, vendors, and capacity planning for the platform Requirements • Several years of experience in platform/engineering infrastructure, including team management • Solid technical expertise in Kubernetes, cloud-native architecture, and automation • Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams of engineers • Strategic mindset combined with practical technical credibility • Experience in operating critical systems in a regulated environment is a plus • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Mastery of English; German and French are a plus Additional information A stimulating environment helps to find ingenious solutions to complex and demanding requirements.
