Mechanic for high voltage testing The Fachkommission für Hochspannungsfragen (FKH) is an organization with an association structure that specializes in on-site testing services in the field of high voltage technology. The Fachkommission, which has existed for around 80 years, offers independent testing of energy infrastructure on cables, switchgear, transformers, and other operating equipment. With a compact team of around 25 mechanics and engineers, the FKH helps to continuously improve the safety of power transmission systems in Switzerland. To reinforce our team in Niedergösgen, we are looking for a motivated and flexibly deployable person to perform mechanical work in an electrical environment. Your challenge You set up test sources in substations at changing locations and in our high voltage laboratory in Niedergösgen. In addition to the testing activity, you help to continuously develop our test sources and measuring devices and to keep them up to date with the current state of technology. Your tasks include in detail: Setup of testing facilities on-site at the customer and participation in high voltage testing in a team Preparation, maintenance, and servicing of the testing material Mechanical work or wiring work during the in-house construction of testing equipment Maintenance work on the FKH premises Your qualities You have training as a Polymechaniker/in, Netzelektriker/in, or Montage-Elektriker/in Practical experience with high voltage systems or interest in training yourself Car driver's license (experience with trailers preferred) Experience with forklift, scissor lift, and crane or the willingness to complete the corresponding courses Willingness for on-site assignments (approx. 60%) throughout Switzerland and occasionally in nearby foreign countries (work at changing locations, partly outdoors) Initiative, temporal flexibility, and reliability as well as strong quality and safety thinking You are a team player and love variety within the team Would you like to become part of a highly qualified team and develop yourself further in the energy market?
