Building Technician Electrical The Technical Service department in the Betriebsdienst Zentrum of the University of Zurich is responsible for the maintenance, fault intervention, and modification of the HVAC/E systems of the university properties Zentrum, Botanischer Garten, Schlieren, Buchs and Oerlikon. We are looking for an experienced and cheerful personality to support our team. Building Technician Electrical Tasks Operation and maintenance of complex building systems Fault intervention, maintenance, and modification of electrical, heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems and technical devices for research Control, regulation, and monitoring of the systems via building management systems Independent execution or coordination of installations, repairs, and optimizations Support and accompaniment with technical questions from users Monitoring, maintenance, and documentation of the systems as well as participation in integral tests and operation-critical safety checks Assumption of on-call duty after careful induction (24/7, approx. 5–6 times per year) Profile Completed training as Elektroinstallateur:in EFZ Experience in the operation of energy supply systems and in the creation and implementation of switching programs Knowledge in building and process automation Team-oriented, service-conscious, and professional appearance Independent, reliable, and conceptual way of working Good IT user knowledge (MS Office 365, control systems) Good oral and written German skills, English is an advantage Ideally in possession of a driving license Cat.
