The APEMS de Sévelin, offering a capacity of 132 places, welcomes children from 3P to 6P. This structure benefits from a rich and varied environment. Located in the southern districts of the city, it is a dynamic place within a neighborhood of great social and cultural diversity. To complete the multidisciplinary team, we are looking for an educator with an activity rate between 70 and 80%. The mission in APEMS is focused on the development of children's social skills through their participation in community life. APEMS are located in the heart of Lausanne neighborhoods, close to schools. The implementation of collective projects, the development of partnerships with stakeholders around the children, reflection and the formation of pedagogical projects as a team are the essential actions that support and sustain the daily reception of the group of children. Main mission(s) Ensure the care of a group of children in accordance with the pedagogical concept while maintaining the global vision Accompany the group of children in the completion of daily activities as well as in the completion of their school homework and promote their autonomy Propose an individualized support approach in connection with the skills to be developed or the needs of the child Participate in the general organization of the structure Undertake specific administrative tasks Propose, manage and document projects involving several internal and external stakeholders Include the different stakeholders in the reception and education of the group of children Profile Early childhood educator degree (HES or ES) Additional training as a practitioner trainer or professional practice trainer, an asset Minimum 2 years of professional experience with a community of children Good knowledge of collective reception venues and group dynamics Team spirit, comfortable in exchanges with parents Autonomy and responsible attitude Analytical and synthesis skills and ability to propose and improve Ability to document one's own activity and that of the group of children Able to develop a participatory process within one's team and within the community of children Special conditions Clean criminal record Clean criminal records (ordinary and special) Split shifts from Monday to Friday Contract with activities during school holidays Salary class 7 Start date 2 September 2026 or to be agreed Offer Please send us your application and the usual documents until via the online form.
