Emmen | 80-100% What you can contribute to <br /> • As a group leader, ensure the proper execution, in accordance with the prescriptions, of all work within the work group and ensure subsequent and functional checks of weapons and equipment • Act as an authorized expert for the qualification, certification and authorization of executing personnel and control personnel • Perform maintenance, overhaul, modification and control work on all armament systems and equipment of aircraft • Prepare aircraft for shooting exercises, ensure their armament and remedy malfunctions of aircraft armament systems • Perform tasks related to air operations: ensure flight order, carry out intermediate checks and overhaul of systems • Intervene in the duty service in the event of an accident (e.g. respiratory protection, fire extinguishing vehicle), on arrest cable and arrest net installations, and, if necessary, as a driver and support foreign commitments and intervene outside regular working hours <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Technical/mechanical vocational training (CFC) and/or knowledge in the field of armament technology (notably F/A-18) an asset; generalist profile with professional experience and affinity for aviation • Category B driver's license required, C and E an asset; good computer skills (MS Office / SAP) desired • Excellent social and leadership skills; responsible, autonomous, precise and team- and customer-oriented working method • Good physical and mental resistance; positive result of the security check for persons required • Knowledge of a second official language and good knowledge of English (level B2) desired • Certificate of modules according to EASA Part-66, category B2 (avionics) and/or knowledge of legal regulations for aircraft maintenance an asset <br /> In a few words High technology rather than workshop routine -- welcome to the world of aviation, where responsibility, technology and expertise come together.
