The Gesundheitsamt is a central department of the Department of Justice, Security, and Health of the Canton of Graubünden. It implements federal and cantonal legal requirements and thus makes a significant contribution to high-quality, safe, and future-oriented healthcare in the canton. The office is divided into the following specialist areas: licensing and supervision of health professions and institutions, cantonal medical service, medicinal products and narcotic control, finance and controlling, health promotion and prevention, and the Sanitätsnotruf Graubünden. The Department of Geriatric and Long-term Care will implement the payment of care grants established as part of the partial revision of the Nursing Act starting in January 2027. Your area of responsibility Advising applicants, persons in need of care, and recognized bodies for the area of recognition grants for care Responsibility for the entire application process, from receipt, examination, and processing of applications and entitlement requirements, to payment in cooperation with internal and external bodies Management of electronic dossiers What we wish for from you You have a degree in the field of nursing, medical practice assistance, social work, or a comparable education You bring several years of professional experience in the field of nursing or social work, counseling, or similar You enjoy interacting and having contact with caregivers, service recipients, and service providers, as well as conducting clarifications in the area of framework conditions, and look forward to building and further developing this position with us You are proficient in using MS Office programs or M365 and use the common applications securely and efficiently; additionally, you are experienced in using digital specialist applications You communicate with stylistic confidence in German, both orally and in writing.
