Emmen | 80-100% The contribution you can make <br /> • Identify and repair faults or defects in equipment and flight effects for professional and militia aircrew (jet, helicopter and propeller aircraft) • Perform repair, modification and inspection work on pilot equipment components (helmet systems, breathing apparatus, radio systems, emergency components, survival equipment etc.) • Check and prepare parachutes as well as perform repairs on various textile components • Manage equipment and control (SAP) with regard to deadlines for objects and pilot equipment effects • Provide specialist support in the context of material testing • Contribute as a specialist instructor to courses, training and foreign missions of the Swiss Air Force <br /> What distinguishes you <br /> • Professional training in the field of AFC mechanics with knowledge in the fields of electricity/electronics and relevant experience for the function, preferably in the field of aviation • Generalist with professional experience and familiarity with textiles desired • Category B driver's license required; good computer skills (MS-Office/SAP) desired • Responsible, autonomous, precise and team- and customer-oriented way of working • Good psychophysical resistance and a positive personal security clearance are a prerequisite • Knowledge of a second official language and good knowledge of English (level B1) desired <br /> In summary You will ensure that pilots can take off -- we will help with the next step in your career.
