Pre-Internship in Social Pedagogy

Your area of responsibility: • Shaping and collaborating in the daily life of a residential group for young people between 15 and around 19 years old • Participating in teamwork, as well as in pedagogical and organizational processes • Accompanying everyday tasks, such as cooking, household chores, homework, and everyday appointments and/or leisure activities • Weekend services by arrangement Your profile: • Experience in working with children desired (sports club, Jubla, etc.) • Flexibility, patience, and perseverance • Teamwork ability • Reflective ability What we offer: • Insights into social pedagogical work in a stationary setting with young people • Insights into trauma pedagogical work • Working hours approximately 2-3 times a week 16-22 Uhr, weekly team meeting on Wednesday morning/afternoon including specialist consultations, team supervisions • Assigned specialist as practice supervisor with regular reflection and/or practice discussions. • Fix-free days possible, regular services • Self-organized team with departmental responsibilities and direct contact persons from management Employment conditions based on the guidelines of the Canton of Bern
