As the provider of eight technical professions, it promotes modern training that is attractive to young people. For this purpose, it develops a wide range of educational media under the brand nextecmedia. is an association founded by Swissmem and Swissmechanic for the development and operation of a digital learning environment for all learning locations. Together with partners from industry and vocational training, Swissmem and techLEARN create practical offers that enable the training of tomorrow. After a major professional revision, vocational training in the eight extensively revised technical professions will start in August 2026.
