The Social Directorate provides services in the areas of child and adult protection and social assistance for the city of Burgdorf and the connected municipalities of Ersigen, Hasle b. Burgdorf and Oberburg. To support and relieve the existing teams, we are looking for, immediately or by arrangement, a Social Worker Social Assistance (60% - 80%) ## Your tasks You arrange individual social assistance benefits in accordance with legal regulations. You advise clients on personal, financial and legal issues, promote professional and social integration and refer them to suitable specialist agencies. As part of the intake process, you are responsible for conducting initial interviews as well as the entitlement check. Your profile You have a tertiary degree in Social Work and ideally some years of professional experience in statutory social work. You enjoy working independently and in a team. You are familiar with IT applications in the field of case management (KLIB) and MS-Office.
