Who we are The area of responsibility of the observation station includes the inpatient care and assessment of normally talented female adolescents aged 13 - 18 years, who exhibit developmental abnormalities and deficits in various respects, but also resources and potential. An observation stay usually lasts six months. Something more concrete: Areas of responsibility in the socio-pedagogical field • Socio-pedagogical and socio-therapeutic care and support of the adolescents during their entire inpatient observation stay • Independent performance of tasks as a key caregiver for one to three adolescents • Design of the pedagogical-therapeutic relationship work • Work with and counseling of parents • Cooperation with the representatives of the referring authorities/specialist agencies, the external teachers or employers as well as, if necessary, other persons from the social reference field of the adolescents • File management, written interim reports as well as comprehensive written pedagogical assessment report • Administrative and organizational tasks in the care work • Participation and co-design in the various internal meetings • Planning and implementation of internal activity offers as well as guided leisure activities • Domestic activities • Garden maintenance What you should bring? • Age between 25 and 52 years • Completed vocational training in Social Work (Social Pedagogy) HF/FH or other recognized training • Several years of experience in inpatient youth work • Motivation, flexibility, ability to reflect and high resilience • Joy in working with female adolescents and in shift work • Very good oral and written linguistic fluency
