Male adolescents and young adults who are at risk in their development are admitted. With pedagogical as well as therapeutic measures, the employees support the clients in integrating into the social order. In addition, specific school and vocational offers provide a foundation so that the adolescents and young adults can prepare themselves for a self-responsible, crime-free life. The open external residential group (AWG) offers the adolescent the chance to move and stabilize themselves with more self-responsibility and a greater degree of freedom within an open framework. In the AWG group, the adolescent must deepen what has been learned and practiced so far and move even more towards independence.
