Start of position: 1. September 2026 or by arrangement, the position is limited until 31. August 2027 with an option for extension Work location: Bern The PHBern awards around 800 teaching diplomas per year and is thus one of the large Pedagogical Universities in Switzerland. Equally significant is its commitment to continuing education and services for teachers and school leaders, as well as its profession-related research, development, and evaluation. The Institut Primarstufe trains teachers for kindergartens and grades 1 to 6. In the study area of Subject Sciences and Subject Didactics, the goal is to acquire subject-specific and factual knowledge for the school subjects to be taught. In addition, students acquire sound subject-didactic skills for competent interaction with heterogeneous classes. They plan and arrange diverse play and learning environments that they can support theoretically.
